This is a pretty doll for the grownup collector - a lot of detail sewn into the outfit and a beautiful up to date face paint. I love that Mattel chose to do a brand new gothic line of dolls - horny and mysterious.
As with lots of the Barbie Collector dolls, she has solid legs that are now not bendable. Since she's meant for display and not play, which is advantageous. These dolls are meant to be displayed on a stand. But in contrast to a budget barbies, the legs don't appear to be holly and don't knock round.
The quality of her costume is superb. She has a raw musline belowshirt/chemise with lace edging on the collar. The 3/4 sleeves are also capped with black lace and gentle ribbons matching the garters on her stockings. A black velvet corset has beautiful lace up ribbons that are tied at the top in a bow. I in reality like that the ribbons are scale-appropriate for the scale of the doll. She has an extraordinarily interesting puffy skirt with tartan important points. The skirt is sewn to the musline underneathshirt/bodysuit and now not really meant to be eliminated for play. Over the outfit is the fourth layer - a purple cape with a rolled up hood. Interestingly, the hood does not open - it's rolled and stuffed. Her hair goes over the prime of it. And, of course, she has the fishnets with lace on the high and purple/black footwear. On the inside of her cape is a barbie collector label.
I assume the only distraction is that the skirt does not match well on my doll. It's too big and bulky.
Her hair is long in again with a loose curl on the finishs. She comes with a basket stuffed with excellenties applicable for a woodland romp.
The wolf doll is ready half of the scale and equally (if now not better) made. I'm no lengthyer keen on the plastic head - I do want it was once a ken doll with a detachable wolf mask. But rather then the plastic (soft vinyl, actually) head on the wolf, I actually love this set.
As with ALL Barbie Collector dolls, it is supposed (and priced) for the adult collector.

My 5 yr old daughter loves the story of Little Red Riding Hood, and the actual product is best than shown in picture.

A fun set for collectors, and some hidden undertones. Overall a fantastic doll. Although I bought one, I would agree that these dolls belong on-line or in a extra adult oriented store. I don't have any problems with Mattel making these, handiest with the fact that they're sold retail at childrens toy stores. But sadly youngsters all the time want what they can"t or shouldent have.
